1. Apple Inc., the Trump campaign, and the Biden-Harris campaign, are not endorsing, sponsoring, recommending, or otherwise involved in the Election Sign Mapper Challenge contest. The promoter is: Forensics 4 Justice Inc. (860-287-0932) whose registered office is at 121 North Pittsburgh Street, Connellsville Pa, 15425.
  2. The competition is open to residents of Pennsylvania aged 18 years or over, but excludes all employees of Forensics 4 Justice Inc. and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organization or judging of the competition.  A valid PA ID will be required for receipt of an award.
  3. There is no entry fee, no purchase, and no software In-App purchases necessary to enter this competition.
  4. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  5. The Election Sign Mapper App is the platform required to participate in the competition. Details of how to enter and rules are available via http://forensics4justice.org/contest (Section 9). 
  6. Only one entry will be accepted per person or per (iPhone) device. Multiple entries from the same person will result in all entries by that person being disqualified.
  7. Closing date for entry will be Friday, October 30th, 2020 at 11:59 p.m.  After this date and time, no further entries to the competition will be accepted.
  8. The promoter is not responsible for entries not received within the required time period, no matter the reason it was not received.

  9. How to enter the competition and the rules are as follows:
    1. Requirements
      • Only available for Apple iOS devices (iPhone, iPad)
      • Devices need to run Apple iOS 13 or greater
      • Devices need to be configured with an Apple iCloud account.
      • Devives need to have mobile phone service.
    2. Enter the competition by:
      • Installing the Election Sign Mapper app from the Apple App Store for the iPhone
      • Allow “Election Sign Mapper” to use your location”, entrants physically outside (based on GPS) the state of Pennsylvania will not to be allowed to join a team 
      • Joining a Challenge team by selecting one of the following teams: 
        • Sw Pa Team Trump 
        • Sw Pa Team Biden
      • Enter your user information in the User Account Information section which includes; First Name, Last Name, Email, City, State, and zip code.
      • Allow “Election Sign Mapper” to Access the iPhone camera. 
    3. GeoTag as many unique election yard signs on residential property and located within one of the Southwestern Pennsylvania Counties of Fayette, Greene, Washington, or Westmoreland.
    4. GeoTagging is completed (in 6 steps) within the app when an entrant/ Player: 
      1. Takes a photo of a candidate’s yard sign which is located on residential property but that is visible from public property
      2. Crops the photo to predominately display the campaign sign within the white bounding box displayed and confirms (by selecting “Use Photo”) use
      3. Determines the property location with selector; the default is Commercial/ Public, Or by selecting “Residence”
      4. Designates if the property does or does not have multiple campaign signs posted. Do this by selecting either “that Other signs are on the property” (switch default Green color) or deselect switch, will change it to Gray color, indicating that no other signs are on the property
      5. Selects from a scrollable list the candidate represented by the campaign yard sign.
      6. Selects ‘Save’ to record the GeoTag

    5. RULES: 
      1. Eligible Campaign signs to GeoTag must be visible from public space, and must be displayed outside.
      2. Only one candidate sign for a team per address will be accepted i.e. the same address can have an acceptable sign (one) for Biden and a sign (one) for Trump.
      3. Virtual, synthetic, simulated, reconstituted or otherwise artificially generated yard signs images will not be allowed as valid GeoTag inputs.
      4. GeoTag images of physical signs in there current “real world” condition to include torn, adulterated, soiled, faded signage, are acceptable as long as the candidate which the sign represents can be determined as inputs for purposes of the contest.
      5. Duplicate signs (a sign that was already Geotagged by another entrant, based on Timestamp for that address) will be awarded NO points for that GeoTag.
      6. An entrant will be disqualified if more than 10% of their geotagged signs were previously tagged by another player (duplicate signs).
      7. Points awarded per GeoTagged sign:
        • 7-points for the candidate you support with a sign-on Residential/ Private property
        • 3-points for the candidate you support with a sign-on Commercial/ Public property
        • 5-points for opponent sign-on Residential/ Private property
        • 2-points for opponent sign-on Commercial/ Public property
  10. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
  11. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
  12. The prize is as follows, only one award of each prize per contest:
    1. The prize is as stated and in US dollars and no other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.  A cheque for the amount of the prize will be payable to the winner.

      • 3rd,  $100.00
      • 2nd,  $200.00
      • 1st,   $300.00
  13. Winners will be chosen:
    1. From all entries received and verified by Promoter and or its agents, as a result of an entrant’s Quality Score calculated and verified signs (randomly selected) audited by Promoter and or its agents. 
    2. In the event of a tie, the entrant with the lowest number of Invalid signs (duplicates, signs that were previously GeoTagged by another entrant) will be selected.  
  14. The winner will be notified by email and/or DM on Apple Messages and/or letter within 28 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
  15. The promoter will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected.
  16. The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  17. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  18. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by the United States and Pennsylvania law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Fayette County Pennsylvania.
  19. The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with the current United States data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
  20. The winner’s name will be available 28 days after the closing date.  They will be published/ posted on the Forensics 4 Justice Inc website.
  21. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  22. The Odds of winning are directly dependent on the number of entries received.
    • Based on Pennsylvania’s population of individuals 18 years of age and older of 9,358,833 people. And with 5 prizes based on skill in finding and geotagging campaign signs.  

  23. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Apple Inc., the Trump, the Biden-Harris campaigns, Democratic Party, Republican Party, Twitter or any other Social Network. You are providing your information to Forensics 4 Justice Inc. and not to any other party.   24. Forensics 4 Justice Inc.‘s decision as to those able to take part and selection of winners is final. No correspondence or any other form of communication, relating to the outcome of the competition will be entered into.
  25. Forensics 4 Justice Inc. shall have the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify these terms and conditions, such change shall be effective immediately upon posting to this webpage.
  26. Forensics 4 Justice Inc. also reserves the right to cancel the competition if circumstances arise outside of its control.
